Detection with Fluorochromes

(Protocol summary only for purposes of this preview site)

Detection of protein antigens on immunoblots is advantageous when an accurate quantification of the signal is required, as well as for simultaneous detection of multiple antigens. In this protocol, the nitrocellulose or PVDF membrane incubated with fluorochrome-labeled detection reagents is rinsed with PBS and processed for image capturing with appropriate imaging equipment.
