Electroelution of Protein Antigens from Polyacrylamide Gel Slices

(Protocol summary only for purposes of this preview site)

Some animals do not tolerate injected polyacrylamide. After running a polyacrylamide gel to separate out the target protein, it is possible to free the protein from the gel matrix by electroelution. This protocol was adapted from Leppard et al. (1983).
