Isolation of IgY from Chicken Eggs: Polyethylene Glycol Method

An alternative to Protocol 7 for IgY isolation involves the use of polyethylene glycol, specifically Polyethylene Glycol 6000 (PEG 6000). Collect the yolk proteins as described in the introduction to Protocol 7, and then isolate IgY as discussed below.
